Austenitic (300 Series)
A broad industrial choice when formability, weldability, and balanced corrosion resistance are required. Often specified for food-adjacent fabrication, moderate chemical exposure, and appearance-sensitive parts.
Ferritic & Martensitic (400 Series)
Selected when wear behavior, heat performance, magnetism, or specific mechanical characteristics drive the decision. Confirm the corrosion environment early, especially with chlorides, weather exposure, or chemical media.
Duplex
Used when higher strength and improved corrosion performance are required for more demanding conditions. If welding is involved, include procedure expectations and project requirements in the RFQ.
Precipitation-Hardening (PH)
Chosen when strength and dimensional stability are key. If heat treatment is required, specify target condition and hardness range to align supply and processing.
Common Grades (Indicative)
304 / 304L, 316 / 316L, 321, 310S, 409, 410, 420, 430, duplex options (on request), PH options (on request). Availability should be confirmed by product form, size range, and delivery condition during quoting.
